Each COA carries a unique ID and a SHA-256 fingerprint. Enter a certificate ID to confirm it was issued by KMD Analytical. Lookups run against the same records the QR codes resolve to.
How the seal works
Every certificate we issue uses SHA-256 for fingerprinting and certificate ID verification. If anything changes—even just a simple simplification number or a name—the fingerprint becomes invalid, so the above query reports it as altered. A match means two things: both the SHA-256 fingerprint and the certificate ID are authentic.
What a failed lookup means
NOT VERIFIED is an honest answer, not an error: either the ID was never issued by KMD Analytical, it was mistyped, or the document was fabricated using KMD Analytical branding. There are no false positives — if it verifies, we issued it. If a certificate someone gave you fails here, contact us directlyand we'll confirm it either way; more than one forgery has been caught exactly this way.
